The Company

Enedis operates the public electricity distribution network across 95% of mainland France. As a key player in the public sector’s efforts toward the ecological transition, the company operates, maintains, and develops Europe’s largest electricity distribution network, serving regions, local authorities, businesses, and citizens.

With more than 38,000 employees across the country, Enedis is driving major transformations in the French electricity system: connecting renewable energy sources, developing electric mobility, modernizing the grid, and managing energy consumption. The company thus plays a key role in building a smarter, more connected, and more sustainable grid.

In this context of large-scale transformation, the ability to manage strategic projects in a consistent manner across both the central level and the regions is a key challenge in terms of performance and alignment.

Challenges & Objectives

The Challenge

Enedis has chosen Tabsters to implement a project portfolio management tool capable of providing, at both the Group level and the regional level, a consolidated, comprehensive, and standardized view of its 16 major priority projects.

Since project planning is carried out regionally with real-time consolidation at the Group level, the goal was to have a shared and reliable view of the portfolio roadmap, while improving coordination among the various stakeholders.

  • Harmonize management methods between central and regional teams,
  • Establishing data governance and information sharing,
