Baromètre 2025 results & AI Keynotes: a landmark evening for Tabsters

On November 20, 2025, Tabsters brought together over a hundred project, program and portfolio management professionals at the Hôtel du Louvre for an exceptional evening: the official presentation of the 2025 Barometer results, accompanied by keynotes from experts on the growing impact of artificial intelligence on project management.

The event was hailed by participants as a key moment in the end-of-year calendar, as much for the quality of the analyses as for the strategic vision provided by the speakers.

A new barometer to understand the project management market

Conducted between April and September 2025, the Tabsters Barometer survey polled over 150 steering professionals from a wide range of sectors (industry, energy, healthcare, finance, transport, tech), and provides a clear picture of the realities in the field.

This initiative, one of the most ambitious ever undertaken by Tabsters, had a dual objective:

- highlight the challenges, difficulties and best practices encountered by organizations ;

- identify emerging trends, particularly those linked to digital transformation, AI and methodological maturity.

The evening of November 20 marked the official conclusion of this campaign, with a public presentation of the results and an in-depth analysis of the weak signals identified.

Laurent Bourny (President, Tabsters) presents the profile of Barometer participants.

An event that brings the project ecosystem together

The evening brought together a wide range of profiles: PMOs, program directors, transformation managers, project managers, consultants and company executives.

A true crossroads of expertise, underlined by the richness of the exchanges throughout the evening.

Several participants praised the event's collaborative dynamic:

"A real step forward"
Stanislas Canova, President - HAND PARTNERS
"I was impressed by the perfect organization, the quality of the speakers and the prestige of the venue! Tabsters is now playing in the big league!"
Germain Mathieu, Owner - MPG Partners

The satisfaction questionnaire also reflects this unanimity:

"Quality of topics and speakers", "Clarity of messages", "Demystification of AI", "Friendly and rewarding exchanges with Tabsters teams."

Three exceptional speakers: a 360° vision of the future of project management

One of the great strengths of the evening was the contribution of three renowned experts, each bringing a strategic perspective on the future of project management.

1. Florian Lepage - Chief Operating Officer

Former Director Consulting Europe - Planview

"The paradox of tool adoption".

With his unique experience of large-scale coaching, Florian explored the paradoxes surrounding the adoption of management tools:

  • A tool is only of value if it is adopted by everyone.
  • Adoption should not be a goal in itself, but a natural consequence of a fluid ecosystem.
  • Digital transformation is not about replacing one tool with another, but about creating a coherent architecture where data flows naturally.
  • To succeed, each player must obtain an immediate benefit, making the tool not a control system, but the nervous system of management.

His speech, rich in concrete examples, made a strong impression on the audience.

2. Marc Darmon - Senior Vice President Europe, Thales

"AI: prospects and impact"

A key player in the Thales Group for over 30 years, responsible for overseeing all European activities, Marc Darmon delivered a keynote address that deeply captivated participants.

He shared:

  • a strategic vision of AI applied to complex systems and large-scale programs,
  • the organizational transformations needed to integrate AI responsibly,
  • new governance and management models to avoid loss of control,
  • the importance of the human factor in the industrialization of AI applications.

His speech was one of the most acclaimed moments of the Barometer:

"Great clarity from the speakers who popularized and demystified AI."
"Marc Darmon's talk was very inspiring."

3. Laurent Bourny - President & Founder, Tabsters

Presentation of Barometer results and Tabsters vision

Laurent unveiled the key findings of the Baromètre 2025 :

  • the major frustrations encountered by PMOs and project managers,
  • the fragmentation of tools and the difficulty of obtaining a consolidated vision,
  • the importance of real-time data for reliable decision-making,
  • the first signs of AI transformation in organizations.

He also presented the Tabsters vision: a solution designed to simplify management, unify practices, make data more reliable, and support teams' skills development.

A cocktail party to extend discussions and encourage meetings

The evening continued with an aperitif-cocktail reception, allowing participants, speakers and partners to exchange ideas in a convivial setting.

Many commented on the quality of the discussions and the value of meeting other decision-makers facing similar challenges.

An event that calls for more

The success of this edition of Barometer Results confirms the need to create forums for reflection on :

  • the transformation of project management,
  • the growing impact of AI,
  • peer-to-peer feedback.

Once again, the Tabsters team would like to thank all the participants for their presence, their energy and their inspiring exchanges.
