The progress calculation mode lets you define how progress will be calculated in your project portfolio / project.
Tabsters offers 4 ways of calculating progress:
This is the default progression calculation mode in Tabsters.
The progression of element n is calculated from the average of children n-1.
With this calculation mode, progression can only be defined at the lowest level of your tree structure.
In this case, progress is calculated from the workload MD & burned MD columns. workload MD is the number of days your resource has to complete the task. burned MD is the number of days your resource has to complete the task. burned MD is the number of days your resource has to complete the task. burned MD is the number of days your resource has to complete the task. burned MD is the number of days your resource has to complete the task. burned MD is the number of days your resource has to complete the task. If no resource is entered for the task, you can enter the burned for your task directly in the Roadmap. burned MD can only be filled in at task level, the burned for level n being the sum of burned n-1.
This calculation mode allows you to define a complexity for your elements, giving them more weight in the progression calculation.A weighted average of the different elements, according to their progression and complexity, will then define the parent's progression. With this calculation mode, you can only define the progression at the lowest level of your tree.
This calculation mode allows you to freely define the progression of all your elements, with no propagation of the progression between levels n and n-1.
