Portfolio dashboard

What is the "Portfolio Dashboard"?

The "Portfolio dashboard / Business line dashboard" report is a summary dashboard of the selected project portfolio .

Use case example: This report can be used to introduce a committee meeting and provide an overview of a project portfolio. Presenting the main progress and alert indicators, it quickly visualizes the points requiring attention. Generally, projects and points of attention are then detailed during the committee meeting by means of other reports.

How is the slide constructed?

The slide is divided into 4 zones, represented by the orange areas in the image above:

  1. The title field displays the object concerned by the slideproject portfolio, project, workpackage...) as well as the slide title
  2. This second zone displays several headers representing the project portfolio progress rate, the meteo and trend information, the number of open decisions, risks and incidents, as well as the number of alerts reported
  3. This third zone represents a timeline from the start date to the end date of the project portfolio. On this timeline are the projects and batches associated with their status
  4. This last zone is divided into 4 sections:
    - Progress: this section shows the progress of each workpackage making up the project, as well as the consolidated progress of budget and performance (kpi/gains)
    - Major events: this section shows the information entered at project portfolio level in the "Previous period", "Upcoming period" and "Overview" fields
    - Governance and risks : This section lists all decisions, risks and incidents reported by the projects in the project portfolio
    - Deliverables: This section lists the projects and batches in the project portfolio , together with their completion dates.
